Me...Me...?

Ok, I'm a virgin at this but geez I love a diversion, so here goes...

I totally lurked in on this at Elmo's place, btw.

1. three things that scare me:

· Violence

· Not being in control of my faculties

· Confusion (is that the same as number 2?? I’m not sure…)

2. three people that make me laugh:

(all my friends make me laugh, but I would start a war if I chose three, hence I will stick with pseudo celebrities. Besides, it's not that much of an achievement, I’m a really easy crowd)

· Jack McFarland (fake people count, right?)

· Caitlin Hill (wind my life back 8 years and BE MY FRIEND)

· JB I don’t have much time to visit nowadays but that boy is one of a kind

3. three things I hate the most:

· Falsity

· Cruelty

· Vowel sounds being given extra syllables they don’t deserve to fit a predetermined rhythm in a song where another word could have fit better.

4. three things I don't understand:

· The situation in Tibet

· Melon

· Smoking

5. three things I'm doing right now:

· A really half-arsed job

· Preparing to leave

· Saving this file so I can get the hell outta here

6. three things I want to do before I die:

· Mother a child or three

· Go to Antarctica

· My ‘bit’, whatever that turns out to be.

7. three things I can do:

· Bake like nobodies business

· Write in the international phonetic alphabet

· Rollerskate

8. three ways to describe my personality:

I think the phrasing of this one is interesting , who is doing the describing here...??

If it is up to me, which seems the case...

· Optimistic

· Passionate

· Idiosyncratic (how can one word say so much?)

9. three things I can't do:

· Play any musical instrument (except the chorus to “Listen to Your Heart” on the piano. *closes eyes* yesss...)

· Play any ‘sport’, really…

· Sit back and let somebody I love suffer

10. three things I think you should listen to:

· Um, Your Heart…?

· Your mum

· Thom Yorke

11. three things you should never listen to:

Well, that’s a big call…but…

· Anyone who tells you ‘you can’t’, or ‘you don’t deserve any better’, including yourself.

Actually, aside from that, I would probably recommend listening to as much as possible. Even though a lot of it will be crap.

12. three things I’d like to learn:

· Stage design

· How to use my camera properly

· When to let someone go

13. three favourite foods:

Oh GOD this is impossible…! Umm…

· Mangoes

· Bread and butter pudding

· Vietnamese noodle salad with spring rolls…it has a proper name…

It causes me physical pain to stop there

14. three beverages I drink regularly:

argh, this is where I sound most bland

· Water

· H20

· Heaven juice

I really do just drink a lot of water…

15. three shows I watched as a kid:

· Metal Mickey

· Hunter

· Secret Valley (What in gods name WERE all those kids doing in that valley??)

16. three people I’m tagging:

I'm kind of a blog recluse... so if you ever read this, please feel free to tag yourself.

If you looked up "Miserable Sod" in the dictionary, you would find a picture of my boss

Honestly, it's beyond being flattering how cranky my boss has been since I resigned.

I am officially getting the silent treatment

I want to smack his sulky face and say "LOOK ALIVE MAN! YOU'LL GET THROUGH IT!"

I mean geez, there's got to be better PA's than me! I would say my refusal to be subservient is probably really holding me back from future career development in the 'field'...("EA?? A promotion!? I thought this day would never come!"

I shouldn't be sarcastic, it's so unbecoming...I'm sure there are some very good, very satisfied and self-actualised Executive Assistants out there, who aren't bored to tears by their enormous To-Do list. As good as I am at the job, it just aint my bag.

So, let me look at it this way

FOUR WEEKS TO GO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!

Eternal Sagittarian Optimism. Aint no man bringin my shit down.

Postscript: Of course, I had to look Miserable Sod up in the dictionary, as I'm not one to make a claim without backing it up*, and sadly, it wasn't there...BUT! it WAS in the thesaurus, which is arguably** even BETTER than the dictionary, being that it has SYNONYMS And there is nothing*** I like better than saying the same thing 14 different ways...and GET THIS, there are 54 entries for Miserable Sod!! Jackpot!!

Now I can guarantee that my emailed outbursts of loathing and sms'd slagfests of disgust will be peppered with proper perspicacity.

Ooh, and alliteration! *sigh*

* exaggeration
